Came back to Vacaville last night. Hung out with Kate at Mel’s for several hours which was awesome.

Drove around for a bit, made a stop at 7-11 where some guy came and knocked on my window to tell me I’m cute and ask for my number. Super flattering. Caught me hella off guard though so I sounded like a dweeb.

Then had a nice little chat with my mom before going to bed.

Day 2 commences now.

Sometimes I really wish that people didn’t have to change. I feel like change most times makes things worse. Maybe it’s just a learning experience. Maybe I’m the one getting smarter. Maybe things are just suppose to happen this way. I guess I’m sort of feeling like I need people in my life that will be authentic, and less fake.

I can sympathize with what you’re feeling. But trust me when I say that when things change, it will always end up being for the better.

“Between the distorted drum rolls and distant, arpeggiated chants of this song’s first half and the luminous harmonizing and pop smarts of its second, anyone who has ever liked Animal Collective at any point will find something to cherish about “What Would I Want? Sky”. In the end though, it sounds less like the band’s past and more like an explosion of future possibilities. Sequencers, 7/8 time signatures, suite-like structure, totally fucking obscure Grateful Dead samples— these are the sorts of things that could once be considered hopelessly obtuse, and yet here it comprises instantly likeable, of-the-moment music. While Merriweather Post Pavilion served as a culmination of an improbable career arc over the span of the 00s, “What Would I Want? Action Packed Morning

It’s now somewhere barely after 8AM. I woke up around 6AM after falling asleep sometime after 1AM. Passed out before I was really ready to, as usual. For the last 2 hours I have been talking Daniel’s ears off (while the poor boy is trying to go back to sleep) about so much that has been on my mind. The meaning of the new AC album. Past decision’s I’ve made. Future decision’s I hope to make. Old friends. New friends. Era’s of life. I feel like it’s been really stimulating and enlightening.

I feel so much more satisfied with life right now than I ever thought I could before. And I know that there is so much more satisfaction in store.

I feel like I have made the right decision’s so far.
